SUBMITTING YOUR WORK
Before you submit your work, please read our Publishing Rules before submitting your book (Clicking the link to open a new window in your browser with the Publishing Rules).
BEGIN YOUR ORDER
There are Five Parts to include in your Submission Package:
PART 1: YOUR BOOK:
Submit a copy of your book, including both:
(a) A looseleaf copy of your book, on 8.5 x 11 paper, single spaced typed; and
(b) The word-processing file (preferably converted to a .pdf file), on a CD or disk.
Please spell-check, grammar-check, proof-read, and fully edit your book before you submit it. We will assume that you have already performed these tasks. Do not give us your only copy. We do not return copies submitted.
You must use one of the following word processing programs:
IBM-Windows:
Microsoft Word 6.0 and higher
WordPerfect 6.0 and higher
Apple Mac
Word 6.0 and higher
WordPerfect 3.5 and higher
PART 2: COVER, ETC. :
Submit the completed and executed Cover Design Form (Clicking this link will open a new window in your browser with the Palm Publishers Cover Design Form. Please print the Cover Design Form, then complete it and sign it.)
Submit two pictures:
(a) Your book cover picture, which must be in TIFF (.tif) file format, be 300 dpi resolution, and be sized for a 6" x 9" paperback cover size; and,
(b) Your own picture, which must be in TIFF (.tif) file format, be 300 dpi resolution, and be sized 3" x 5".
If you need help, Kinko's can scan and size pictures into TIFF format.
Also submit:
(a) Your Book Synopsis (dramatic summary of the book, 110 words or less, for use in creating the Marketing Blurb for the book cover and/or in marketing materials); and,
(b) Your Biographical Statement (50 words or less, about you).
PART 3: ORDER FORM:
Submit the completed and executed Palm Publishers Order Form (Clicking this link will open a new window in your browser with the Palm Publishers Order Form. Please print the Order Form, then complete it and sign it.)
PART 4: CONTRACT:
Submit the completed and executed Palm Publishers Contract (Clicking this link will open a new window in your browser with the Palm Publishers Contract. Please print the Contract, then complete it and sign it.)
PART 5: PAYMENT:
25% of the Total Amount due on your Order Form must be paid at the time of submission. Your 25% payment must be included with your Submission Package.
(a) You can pay the 25% Payment by cashier's check or money order made payable to "Palm Publishers"; or
(b) You can pay by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Discover) using PayPal's secure payment method (PayPal is a subsidiary of eBay; PayPal uses a completely encrypted and secure payment technology). Using Paypal is free to you, fast, easy, and secure. To pay by credit card, type in the Book Title and the Author's Name, and then click on the "PayPal button below.
If you pay by credit card through PayPal, we will already have a record of your 25% Payment on file when your Submission Package arrives (NOTE: The name on the credit card should match the name on the Order Form included in the Submission Package--if they are different, please email us in advance and advise us of this fact). We track all orders by Book Title and Author's Name.
The 75% balance of your Payment is due within ten (10) working days of receipt of an acceptance notice via email from Palm Publishers, notifying you of selection of your book to be published. On the other hand, if your book is rejected by Palm Publishers, you will receive a rejection notice via email, and your 25% Payment will be fully refunded within ten (10) working days thereof.
FINAL REVIEW
Make sure that your Submission Package includes the following:
1. Copy of your book, including both:
(a) A looseleaf copy of your book;
(b) The word-processing file, on a CD or disk;
2. Cover, etc.
(a) The completed and executed Cover Design Form;
(b) Your book cover picture; and,
(c) Your own picture.
(d) Your Book Synopsis (110 words or less); and,
(e) Your Biographical Statement (50 words or less).
3. The completed and executed Palm Publishing Order Form
4. The completed and executed Palm Publishing Contract; and
5. 25% Payment via Cashier's Check or Money Order (unless you pay via credit card through PayPal).
MAIL YOUR SUBMISSION PACKAGE:
