PREP WORK:
Formatting/Print Set-up: Palm Publishers formats your book and gets it print-ready for eBook and paperback publishing. File converion (converting y our word-processing file into a print-ready Adobe Acrobat .pdf file), title page, copyright page,
pagination, spacing, blocking, font-selection, spell-checking, and
punctuation review are included. Editing and grammar-checking
are not included.
Copyright: Palm Publishers prepares and files Form TX to copyright the book (copyright is filed in your name).
ISBN: Palm Publishers assigns ISBN numbers (Palm Publishers' Prefix) for the paperback and eBook editions.
UPC: Palm Publishers prepares UPC barcodes for the paperback and eBook editions.
Domain Registration: Through Lookmark.com, Palm Publishers searches,registers, parks and forwards domains for the book's title (or key words) for six endings (if available): .com, .net, .org, .info, .us, and/or .biz.. Author's name, key book characters, etc. can also be registered (if available).
Cover Design: Palm Publishers auto-designs and prepares the book cover from the menu selections made on the Cover Design Form.
PRINTING
Paperback Printing: Through DeHart's Printing Services Corporation, Palm Publishers prints the Initial Print Run of 100, 250, or 500 paperbacks.
Electronic Printing: Palm Publishers electronically prepares the eBook in read-only downloadable form.
MARKETING
Themed Booksites: Palm Publishers showcases selected books on its Themed Booksites [Fiction, Historical Fiction, Science Fiction, Romance, Adventure-Action, Non-Fiction, Biography, Education-Self-Help, Children's] at TNT Books.
Website Development: Palm Publishers builds a website for the book, hosting it through Lookmark.com on the domain registered above.
The PalmStore: Palm Publishers markets and offers the book for sale (both paperback and eBook) through its online retail outlet, the PalmStore.
Palm's eBay Store: Palm Publishers markets and offers the book for sale (both paperback and eBook) through its online retail outlet, Palm's eBay Store.
Amazon.com: Palm Publishers markets and offers the book for sale (both paperback and eBook) through its online retail outlet, Amazon.com.
Bookstores; Other Outlets: Marketing and sales through traditional bookstores and other outlets is not included in the Initial Print Run.
Order Fulfillment/Shipping: Palm Publishers fills and ship orders for sales at the online retail outlets.
